Our Company “O’Connor Jewellers”, was originally founded by Thomas O’Connor (Snr.).

Thomas began manufacturing jewellery in 1949.

The Company was first registered, as manufacturing jewellers, on December 1st, 1954.

We still have the original Business Registration Certificate, issued by the Dept of Commerce, in 1954, and it takes pride of place in our Showrooms.

Our Company traded from Anne’s Lane, off Grafton Street, from the early ’50’s up to early 1960’s, when further expansion necessitated the Company to look for larger premises.

In 1964, O’Connor Jewellers purchased 133 Harolds Cross Road, and moved the entire production facility to the new address later that same year.

We have remained at this address to the present day.

On the main Harold’s Cross Road, our factory is one of the few purpose built jewellery manufacturing facilities in Ireland.

Our factory showrooms are open to the public.
